Welcome to Dead Idea Of The Month! A magical place where my Creative Directors and Clients don’t exist. Each month I give a dead idea a second chance to see the light of day. It’s fun, but they do have to die again.
A mixed bag of coolers
YETI Coolers was the account that every creative wanted to work on while I was at McJ. Our chances as interns were few and far between, but we got a few ideas, that I'm still quite proud of, to the CMO's desk. Here's a few.
YETI- POSTER–The idea for this poster was born while working on a packaging assignment for YETI. My partner and I decided to just go ahead and make it.
YETI HOPPER TWO- The redesign of the Hopper came with a unique new feature. A 100% leak-proof hydrolock zipper. We decided that some installations in the aquariums at Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops would really drive home the point.
YETI RETAIL DISPLAY- In Texas, YETI has become an essential staple of every BBQ joint. We decided to pay homage to a meat-loving state with a meat-loving cooler design for retail outlets.

We also thought of the Hoover Dam but the government never answered their phone.
